Overview

We surface the law. You verify it.

Amanah is built so a Ghanaian lawyer can rely on it without giving up control. Three commitments — data, duty, provenance — sit underneath everything in the product. Each card below tells you what we do and points you at the document that backs it up.

Column A · Data

Your client data is yours.

We are a data controller registered under the Ghana Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843). Uploaded documents are scoped to your seat. We don't train shared models on your matters.

Column B · Professional duty

Built within your duties as a lawyer.

Amanah surfaces information; it does not give legal advice. The product is designed to fit inside the Legal Profession Act 1960 (Act 32) and the General Legal Council code of conduct — the qualified lawyer remains the one in charge.

Column C · Provenance

Every answer points to its source.

Research responses are grounded in retrieval over a Ghanaian legal corpus. We label which citations we verified against the corpus and which we didn't. Every action is logged in an audit trail your firm admin can export.

The non-negotiables

  • AI does not give legal advice. Every authenticated screen carries the disclaimer. Every drafted document and research response is for a qualified lawyer to verify before relying on it.
  • Every claim is sourced. Research responses cite the exact statute, case, or regulation. We show you which citations we verified against the corpus and which we didn’t.
  • You stay in control. Every action — query, draft, upload, deletion — is logged. Firm admins can audit any seat, any query, at any time.
