What can Discovery do?
It routes a request to verified legal research, authority search, drafting, document review or compliance. Specialist results remain available in their dedicated workspaces.
Can I research uploaded documents?
Yes. A session can retain up to five PDF or DOCX files. Document passages are identified as client evidence and kept separate from legal authority.
How is my client material handled?
Your questions and uploaded documents are sent to the AI providers Amanah uses to produce an answer, under agreements that prohibit training on your content. Privacy Shield, which additionally replaces private details with typed placeholders before that processing, is not enabled yet — so treat uploads as you would any other cloud legal tool.
What happens with scanned PDFs?
Amanah attempts private local OCR first. If that cannot recover reliable text, the file pauses and asks for one-time consent before external vision OCR is used.
Does a full review cover every page?
Full review processes every stored page in the selected set, up to the current five-document and 200-page combined limit, then records coverage in the result.
Can I rely on the output without checking it?
No. Amanah is a research tool, not a law firm. Lawyers should inspect the cited source, current-law status and any OCR warning before relying on a quotation or conclusion.
